The agent partially understood Sleevy by fetching its marketing pages (homepage, iOS app, Chrome extension, Raycast integration) but could not complete the task fully due to missing critical information. The site's pages are visually rich but HTML-truncated in responses, forcing the agent to rely on page titles and metadata rather than full content. Most critically, pricing information is entirely absent (a /pricing route returns 404), and the agent could not find business model details despite multiple web searches. The agent assembled a working description of what Sleevy does (API-driven bookmark manager with MCP server support, multi-platform input) and who it targets (power users, developers, AI integrators), but had to explicitly flag that key positioning details and competitor differentiation were missing or inaccessible.

  • Steps [1], [11], [27], [29] returned HTML pages with preloaded assets and truncated content—the agent could extract only titles, meta descriptions, and structural intent, not the full marketing copy or feature details. For example, step [1] (homepage) was truncated at 4400+ chars, making it impossible to read the value proposition directly.
  • The site provided no pricing page (step [5] returned 404), and web searches (steps [7], [31], [35]) found no external coverage of Sleevy's pricing or business model. The agent had to report this as a major gap rather than infer it from the site.
  • Step [17] (GitHub repository) yielded only the HTML shell of the repo page, not the README or documentation. Step [21] (raw README fetch) failed with 404, leaving the agent unable to verify technical details or project status.
  • The agent's final description was built almost entirely from page titles, meta tags, and URL structure (e.g., /ios-app, /chrome-extension, /raycast) rather than from readable page content. This forced reliance on prior knowledge and inference rather than direct content extraction.
  • No site-native comparison, FAQ, or differentiation page was discovered. The agent had to search the web for context (MCP servers, bookmark manager alternatives) rather than find it on sleevy.app itself.
  • The site is poorly agent-ready: it truncates HTML responses, provides no accessible docs, publishes no pricing, and offers minimal structured metadata (og:site_name, twitter:card present but insufficient). A human would struggle similarly to extract actionable details from marketing pages without full text rendering.
